On the Eastern front of Israel, there exists a beach like none other in this entire planet. A special beach that is home to an even more special body of water. This paradise is a great place to visit for relaxation. The Dead Sea, home to the Dead Sea beach, is found in Israel and is a great spot to rest and relax. There are many unique activities to do at the Dead Sea.
Mud baths are a common activity. The Dead Sea mineral mud has massive healing properties and is appropriately applied to the entire body for the best results. It is common to see an army of mud soaked bathers walking around like mud men. Inside this casing of mud is a cocoon of restorative properties that absorbs into the skin like a sponge. Once the mud body-sized mask is ready to come off, it is time to take a dip into the salty waters of the sea.
It would be wise to bring a pair of tight-fitting goggles to the Dead Sea as the high concentrations of salt would more than sting the eyes. However, you may most definitely leave the diving gear at home. This is due to the fact the Dead Sea creates a highly intense floating effect on its guests. The Dead Sea partially got its name because swimming into it is virtually impossible. Thus, while you float and relax, you appear as a deceased floating victim of the waters. While the Dead Sea really gets its name from the inability to accommodate animal life, the floating reference provides great imagery into this lush body of water.
So take part in the fun that can be had at the world’s lowest elevated body of water on Earth. There is much to do at the aquatic jewel of Israel.
